US vs PAL Soundtrack

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this before but having just read it on this site, the soundtrack for the US version of the game is way better than the European version!

Okay, so here in Europe we got 3 Feeder tracks, Muse (oddly the US mix of Sober), Ash and Death In Vegas but the rest of the soundtrack is all pretty much obscure artists....unless I've missed someone out.

This compares to the US - Hendrix, Kravitz, The Cult, Apollo Four Forty, JXL, Papa Roach, Goldfinger and Snoop Dogg.

I'm aware that the US market makes more money for PD but could they possibly get a couple more high profile international artists into the European version next time?

It's great that PD use the games to break new artists (They had Feeder in GT1 long before they hit the mainstream in 2001) but this needs to be balanced with those that are already well-established.

Just an observation anyway....:)
 
lol...nah its rock for me mate..but true the u.s soundtracks is mutch better. AND ive yet to get prologue, i cant find it any bloody where!!!
 
Menu music - off. Background music - off. Replay music - off.

The engines are their own soundtrack. Bollocks to the music.

some of the songs you can't hear anyway like 99 red balloon's You can hardly hear the intro.

That song is teh coll... It's on GTAVC... :D

Turn it up and hear the English...

It's a remake from the origional by Nena, which was an 80's #1 hit, and came in two languages, German and English (99 Luftballoons and 99 Red Balloons respectively).

You and I in a little toy store
bought a bag of balloons with the money we got
set them free at the break of dawn
to one by one, they were gone
back at base bugs in the software
flash the message something's out there
floating in the summer sky
99 red balloons go bye!

thats basicly me now. i either play my own muzic or nothing. sometimes i listen to the songs but i've heard them a million times...

The English version feels contrived. The German lyrics scan much better.
 
I usually turn only menu music on 👍 Yeah, the German version is a little better.

PS: Did you see that drift mix video with 99 Red baloons ? :D

Yes, yes it does suck. Exept for the 3 feeder songs.

99 Luft balloons being my favorite song, i have to correct your lyrics (atleast this is how the Goldfinger remix is :) ) ;) :p

Feeder sucks!I always put up Meteora or St.Anger,much better,much havier :trouble:

Meteora is a Great Album to Race to 👍 I have many laps in the bag with this and Hybrid Theory as my Soundtracks :)
 
Who listens to music while their racing?

The Pal sountrack in my opinion is a lot better suited for racing in a simulator, when you do enduros you know what i mean, and it fitted in well with GT1 and GT2, if you want crap rock **** play your own music over it or go play NFSU. Simulators are suited to the PAL music.

Actually' that's '99 Luftballoons, some pop artist in the 80's made it, I couldn't make heads or tails of what she was saying... :indiff:
