If Ferraripro is correct with the release of the V2 patch by the end of this month (September), then logic dictates the release on September 25, 2008.

Sony updates PSN on Thursdays = last Thursday of September = 25th.

(11 characters - I hope I'm OK)

P.S. - I HOPE HE IS RIGHT... I think?

Hope you're right. I'm looking forward for the patch. Unfortunately i dont know if i got the time to play all from the beginning.

But the Photo Modus is one of the features i'm waiting for.

Hope it is possible to take shots while racing....^^ (or while watching the replays).

ferraripro, and do you have a firm date for the release of V3 here (I don't know if it is V3, I'm talking about the patch to solve the "less than 10 characters" PSN IDs) ??

Cheers!

EDIT: "here" means PAL version, of course :)

Hi,

I do not have a firm date for the release of the Patch in the USA. We are in discussions with our American partners about the timing.

That's not a good sign. That means it won't be this month. Oh well, maybe this is a blessing in disguise. There has been enough consternation over this patch.

Cheers,

Ferraripro posted the date in the ver3 post.

Patch V3 was submitted to Sony today and fixes the following issues:

PSN names below 10 characters stopping people connection to online games
1080 graphic detail restored
575 Leaderboard crash
Infinite laps / White flag bug
Crash to XMB after certain races
I have been given a provisional date of 26th at 10am for deployment. I will update you if this is going to change. The download will be an incremental one and be around 15Mb.

Once again, thanks for your patience and continued support.

this is too confusing with PAL & NTSC info in this thread. we need a dedicated USA patch thread.
