USB data lost (partially)

Although I use the search function is still not found a similar situation. Is there anyone who can answer me?
So, every time before logging off, I save the game progress on USB. Yesterday I found something odd: although I play every day, 200% bonus is gone and found another car than the previous day! Also, Seasonal Events from 29/03/12 until today are "virgin", but were taken. Continuing checks, I saw a few cars missing from the garage, 24 hour race at Le Mans is gone, the level dropped to 40 at 39. I left the game and checked the data on the USB. Big surprise: GT5: 25/03/2012, 3644KB, Play time: 2500 day (s). I checked the garage again and last acquisitions are dated 25/03/12. Everything after that date was lost.
How was it possible to happen? What, where and when I did wrong, as long as I saved the game progress every day?
 
hmm, you obviously reverted to an older save.
maybe you made a mistake while copying. Its pretty easy to mess up the copy file to usb if one isnt paying attention. I think ive done the same thing early in the dupe cars days. lost a couple o cars here and there
 
Secondary account is lvl 34 and I never saved progress. If I was logged in the second account when I did back up, the USB would take all that account data (lvl 34, only a few cars, little progress).
Until yesterday everything was OK. I understand that some file can be corrupted, and they can be saved on USB without knowing. But why on 25/03/2012? That I should consider myself lucky because I could lose everything? How do I know that data is corrupt and should not be saved?
 
nothing can be saved on your usb without you knowing.
The ps3 tells you if data is corrupted. The file appears as a blank file.

This is the first time ive ever heard of this problem that youre having, so im leaning more towards operator error rather than a ps3 glitch. Maybe someone with more ps3 glitch knowledge will provide some insight.
 
I never excluded the possibility that I have done something wrong! My question is where I am wrong and how to avoid it happen again?
Also, there is any chance to recover what I lost (24 hour Le Mans ,Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car '67 , ...)?

PS: Even if it by mistake, instead of save progress, I loaded the USB data, should have to lose data since the last save, not from 25/03/12.

the only way you couldve loaded up an old save is mixing them up while copying (easy mistake if you dupe alot) So if that is it, paying attention while copying and pasting will avoid it.

If youve lost your save file, you cant recover it. it sucks but youre stuck.
