I try to put a picture from my GT4 photo album to my flash drive so I can put it in my computer. But although the light shines on my flash drive, my PS2 isn't reading it. Is it the flash drive or the PS2 thats the problem. Am I using the wrong kind of flash drive; if so, which kind am I suppose to use.

give a snapshot of your usb. Or an online picture of the exact relative of your usb.

Whoa its been ages croooooow.

Well i'm going to borrow my mom or dad's camera phone and try to post it up since my piece of crap phone did not come with a cable to fit inside the computer. This flash drive I got it from my technical institute.

Try searching "compatible device" in the GT4 forum. Check the hardware where it is compatible or not.

Read this link here. Just make sure you copy your files over to the computer before you do this or else you will lose your files.

Its formated correctly but it isnt showing up. Yeah the light turns on but does not show up. I guess I need a new flash drive

I have two thumb drives that the PS2 won't use, and several more that are just fine. No explanation I've come across, unless maybe it's FAT vs. FAT32, and that's just a guess.

Edit: Nope, that's not it; i just saved a pic on a FAT32-format thumb drive

Is there a little button or switch on the side? Some flash drives have a function that when you enable it you cannot store or copy files I think. I have one at home that works this way.
