Newbie Question, but is it possible to use the CSR sequential shifter as a handbrake?

I use the CSR Elite wheel and just bought the CSR Shifter set. I primarily play Forza4 but also play GT5 now and again. Is a handbrake for shifting even compatible with these games?

Also, I have the H shifter connected as my manual drive, but is it possible to simultaneously connect the other shifter for my handbrake?

The only Fanatec wheel that can have both connected at the same time is the CSW. Also not sure if Forza would let you re-assign the handbrake to the shifter.

Most of what I see people doing on the CSRE for handbrake is either connecting a handbrake to the PCB on the wheel, or if you have the Clubsport pedals (maybe the CSR Elite pedals, but I'm not sure), you can get the tuning kit to get the throttle potentiometer and use it to make a handbrake and connect it to the pedals (they have a handbrake port somewhere, for when the Clubsport handbrake comes out in the distant future.)

Thanks. That was very helpful.

I have the clubsport pedals V1. Can you give me more info on the tuning kit and throttle potentiometer.

I'm hoping MrBasher does two things...

1. I hope he makes a PF1 Bare Bones board with the handbrake, a la Club Sport Pedals.

2. I hope he can make an SFA1-type adapter that allows me to use my CSR Sequential shifter as a handbrake. :)
