I think they should bring back what was so great in GT1... the used cars were awesome. Cause if you would check every several days (GT days that is) you could find rare cars for cheap. I remember checking through the subaru used lot and finding a rare Impreza 22B. Just little things like that are crazy.
I also think that the only cars that should be in the showroom should be new cars. No Acura/Honda Integras. Actually no Acura at all. Whats the need when the JDM version Hondas were so much better in style and performance. But like I was saying. No 98 version cars in the showroom. They should be in the Used Car Lot. And also in the used car lots should be the old camaros and stuff. You go to chevy's used car lot and you search through ugly ass teal and tan cavaliers and oh no... whats that... an emerald green yenko camaro. thats what would make the game fun. (Not saying that its not fun at all)
The mileage would actually be useful too. The more miles on the car, the lower the price in the Used Car Lots. And maybe the more miles on the car the more times you have to change the oil. Maybe a transmission fluid change would be cool too. Like when you shift on old fluid you can hear gears slamming and maybe driving too long on old fluid cold result in the loss of a gear. (kinda like pro race driver for those of you who played that)
Nothing too crazy in there for cars...
Sure you need the Ferraris and Lamborghinis. The actual name of Porsche would be nice too. No RUFs. It'd be nice for GT4 to take advantage of the VW line-up. Not just the beetle. Maybe the new convertible Beetle. The Jetti GLX, the GTI VR6 and GTI 1.8T and of course the Passat W8 and either the GTI 337 or the R32. Even the older cars like a Rabbit GTI or a FOX Wolfsburg Edition. Or even an old Beetle. Same goes with Audi. They had some serious problems with the TT. I've driven a real TT Quattro and they aren't nearly as slow as the slugs in GT3. The addition of the new A4 body style with the S4 and RS4. Maybe the new 400+ HP RS6 too. Honda needs a boost too. Like the Integra/RSX and the Euro R Accord. The new Accord V6 Coupe and the NSX Type R. It'd be cool to see Mugen and Spoon come back again to make some prize car appearances. The Mazda 6 and the Mazdaspeed Protege and the Protege 5 would be cool. The Evo 8 is a must along with the Eclipse. The old eclipse would be cool too. Its only one of the most popular Import... uh Domestic.... uh Import car in the import scene. (I say domestic because the eclipse is just our FTO) The 350Z is of course a must including the new roadster concept. Maximas and Altimas and the Sentra SE-R. And with these you can't leave out the Infiniti G35 Coupe and Sedan. I'm not sure if the FX45 would qualify for GT but that'd be sweet. It'd be cool to see a race with FX45 vs Porsche Cayenne vs VW Touareg (sp?) BMW needs some steroids or something. GT3 had no good Bimmers. The M3 and M5 went missing and the new 7 series would be cool. The Mini S is a must. The Z8 would be cool to see. Along with the rest you get the Maseratis and Bentleys (maybe) and the Aston Martins, Jaguars and Mercedes. The CLK GTR would be a sweet car to have and the maybe make Mercedes seem a little less ***** then in GT3.
Americans aren't left out. Just cause they stopped making them why should the game be left without them, some Camaros/Firebirds would be nice. Like the Pontiac Firehawk. Chevy should also include the Monte Carlo SS and the 96 version Impala SS. Possibly the Corvette Concept too or maybe a lingenfelder Corvette. And yes for those import/dometstic fans... the Cavalier Z24. As far as dodge/chrysler. No PT Cruiser. Its dumb. The Neon SRT-4 is a must and the new Viper Concept. Maybe the Intrepid or the 300M and you gotta have the Crossfire concept. That'd be tight. And there should be a Saleen brand instead of Shelby, no offense. Just faster cars. Like the S7 and the SR Mustang(GT2). Oh yeah, I saw a Saleen Thunderbird concept in Automobile magazine. It'd be cool to see the 281s and the S281s too. As far as Ford goes. The Thunderbird and maybe the Foci? lol Focuses? lol All the Foci... The Sedan the ZX3 and the ZX5. It'd be nice to have the SVT brand make an appearance too. The SVT Focus (both ZX3 and ZX5) and the awesome 390hp SVT Mustang. Cadillac should be in there somewhere. Cool to see some Le Mans cars. And the new Sixteen concept... 1000hp Cadillac... nice. Or even the Cadillac Snoop Deville, the Snoop Dogg branded Cadillac.
I'm not saying all these cars should be in there and I'm sure I left out some cars. This is just my opinions and the thoughts I had.
It's also be cool to have some exterior modifications again. Not just race mods. Some of the bodys of cars looked cool with the race mods but the race graphics ruined it. I remember a perfect example. In GT1. The Civic looked sweet with the body pieces and lowered extreme stance. But it was covered in very odd lime green, creamsicle orange and pee yellow colors. Maybe add something to the affect of Auto Modellista or Tokyo Extreme as to exterior modifications.
Alright I think I wrote a book. I'm done. Email for any other import or just plain respond to this. I'm interested in what you people think of my opinions.
