I recently was looking throught Mazda>Used from just a small hp car I could do small hp races with, so I picked up a 1990 Mazda RX-7 GT-X with 202hp for just under 8000 Cr, after doing all the work to it, I got her pumpin out atleast 500hp, doing little over 200mph, point of this is that maybe used cars are good, I really never did think of buying something under there. I also picked up a 1998 Subaru 22b Imprezza, OH MY GOD! I love this car, sure it only cost me 58,298 Cr, but it game with little under 300hp stock, I got it pushing over 500hp, and doing 200+.

Maybe we should look into these "used" cars more often.

used cars rock. you will never find rare cars in the new car lot, and stuff like the 22b is rare, you can get a whole bunch of neat cars there. keep a look out for more rare cars. i'm sure you can find a list if you look around a bit

If you want to get anywhere near 100% completion, you must use used cars to win the Manufacturer's cups. The Cap'cino is a used car, The AZ-1 is used, and some of the older models of cars have better performance number when compared to the new stuff.

Yeah, I think I found the Tofu Shop scheme, without the Tofu writing, but its an '83. Wasn't the Ae86 a 1985?

Its basicly the same car... I wouldn't worry about the year too much.. aslong I can drift in it..

There's four nearly identical AE86s...which is nice if you have 4 memory cards and you want different paint schemes/race mods. There's no performance differences or variation in handling characteristics.

Some treasures abound in the used lots: old school is in da hizouse. (2000GT, '71 GT-R, '90 Inifini III, '83 RX-7, '82 Starlet...)

mmmm.. FC.... :D

Congratulations, NEW WORLD CHAMPION!

Now put in that Arcade Disk to see your prizes!

There´s also models that are don´t get better with age (at least if we let numbers talk) and let the used car lot take the lead. The civic from 93 (I think) is the best of them all and the 96 toyota glanza beats the newest version not to mention the old celicas being in a whole different league than their 99 counterparts.

And then there's some cars that are better or as good in used rather than new.

The FTO GPX '94 is an example. Just as good as new, only cheaper. The Nissan Pulsar GTi-R '91 is much better than the new ones. And the '95 300ZX Turbo is lighter and nearly as powerful as the '98s.

There's a few more.

I think I never saw that in used car lot. I t does appear in arcade car selection wich brings me to another issue - yesterday I visited a part of your site about bodycodes and in the "body - only codes" I´m missing something; the codes for hidden bodys lack the last 4 digits. What do I put there? Oh yeah I have pal version.

Anyone notice that the 22B is the '98 rally car without the stickers? I have a model of the '98 rally car without decals, and it looks exactly like it.

Well, the 22B is just like the rally car (according to the description), but detuned for road use.

Only 5 gears? Ugly-ass race mod, too.

But it virtually renders the '99 Rally Car worthless.

Funny how in real life, all the cars a want have to be bought used......new cars suck. eg. the new civic Si compared to the old civic Si

I like some of the used cars better than the new ones. Cheap cheap cheap, more money for mods and the diff is hardly noticable, some times the older car is actually better.. I like the older rx7 better than the new ones( not the LM)
But i guess its just me!!:trouble:

Can you post a list of the used cars like before:(

Check my site, you'll see stats on which cars are used and where they are located. Also, the rare car list ought to be of some use; the toughest to find ones are there, the rest are fairly common.

To my knowledege, nobody's ever made a comprehensive this-car-on-this-day-with-this-color list.

an old mazda rx-7 was my first car, not exactly a good choice if you have no concept of realistic driving, aka you've only ever played NFS
