I'm working on Cote'D'Azur right now...

Every car on the list is perfectly stock and straight from the used car or new car list, on sports medium tires (stock), oversteer set to 2 on every car. I used the best lap time from 3 laps. And each car had one oil change.

This took me roughly the entire night to compile, and I was relieved to finally see the 22B (my favorite of the bunch) appear in the used show room.

I was going to go back and do the refresher plan and re-test every car, but it seems that using the refresher plan on the oldest one (the evo I) only gained me a net 2.4 seconds max. so I don't think it'd be worth the effort to buy/test/reset to save money, or spend 1 million doing it to all the cars 👎

I don't know how this would help anyone... but hey, it's neat to see anyway... If you can get better times, I'd like to see what you've been able to do. Remember, not a single modification or settings change though (except oversteer @ 2).

It's not supposed to be, it's the FQ400 that has 400Bhp and thats not in GT4.

surpised the MR isnt 400hp on this game O_O

"1999 Evolution TME VI RS 1.44.813"

That's what surprised me. It's the only RS model I've used, there is a VII and VIII RS, but I'm not including them because it's an unfair comparison to the STi's; they don't have a low-weight model.

I think it's ludicrous that there are

14 rx7's
15 Evo's
43 Skyline's
19 STi's

Why couldn't they add more domestics? Those cars right there outnumber all american cars combined.

I would like to see more Ford's and Chevies, some of the lower models like the probe, cavalier, escort, older mustangs, etc.

Oh well, no sense in arguing the point now..and I sort of hijacked my own thread :indiff:

The others I don't mind as much, but 43 Skylines? Damn.

exactly. 43 skylines is overkill. i want more british cars!! :D

im also suprised the vectra DTM isnt in the game! :( or any of the newer DTM cars, minus the audi A4

Good idea !! Let's put a couple of Bristols and Jaguar from the 80s. I don't think however that the Jag will be able to finish the races..

they not only have 4x skylines but a huge group of them is missing (the non-gtr's r33 and r34). how dumb? wouldnt a better mix give more choice and less complaining while still having skyline overkill?

what surprises me about that list is the complete absence of non-STI WRXs in the game, especially 2000 - 2004 models. I thought the GSR was the WRX equivilent?

Nah, the GSR is just the more luxurious version of the Evo's, whereas the RS versions are lightweight versions with crappy wheels, crappy seats and crappy interior, designed to be a cheaper Evo for racing teams/individuals to buy so they could replace the usual wheels/seats/other stuff and get it racing.
