Upon running "sudo" on my toy OS X computer I received this message:

We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System Administrator. It usually boils down to these two things:

#1) Respect the privacy of others.
#2) Think before you type.
I've never run sudo before, as I've always been root of any system I needed root access on. Strange that I was being told to follow rules that I already live by.

Perhaps we should all follow these two rules, both in computing and in our daily lives.

Respect others and think before you act.

are you trying to give us a lecture??

That sounds just like the Golden Rule to me. :) It's nice to see an OS remind people of that!
