forget all that has been said before, you don't want the standard drivers and the tweaks.
what you want is the 4.6 beta driver, that has not officially been released yet.
you can find it here:

that one will detect the DFP properly and you can adjust the amount of rotation without extra tools like dxtweak2. its also much easier, as the new software has a simple slider that lets you set the degrees to any amount up to 900.
furthermore the DFP now uses its forces to block the wheel from being turned too far.
you may still have to execute dxtweak2.exe once, because sometimes the wheel will have an annoying deadzone. just start dxtweak2, click on "default" and then "apply", to get rid of the deadzones.
if you have installed the older version of the logitech software, which detects the DFP as a DF only, then i recommend to deinstall that first, plug out the wheel, use the "clear calibration" tool, reboot the pc and then install the new drivers.
