Using google maps/google earth etc to recreate a track or road in GT5

What do you guys think of this idea?

Certainly the first thing that comes to mind is having the ability to create real life japanese mountain passes, or that insane road in norway, or tour de corse etc.

But the idea could go past just road racing.

You could simulate driving to a location you are unfamiliar with in gt5, before actually driving there?
