Using saved games from another console

Right, so I'm looking at doing some save files for AC 09 so everyone can have decent rosters, etc. I've just seen someone say that they did one, took it to a mates house and it said, "This data is from another console and trophies will be disabled."

Can you avoid this in any shape?
 
Well you can use save files from other poeple to play on, but as you already expirienced trophies will be disabled if you do it.

For a good reason, there would not be much point to hunt trophies if people could just copy them from other poeple who already did them.
 
Yeh, I see the point in it. It's just all I want to use it for is to create a game save which corrects the database errors that the developer couldn't be arsed to get write, and is unlikely to patch.

If I backed up the original files, I can presumably put them straight back in and be able to get trophies?
