Using the wrong cars...

So today I beat the first two muscle car challenges in my little red CRX. I didn't even have to use racing slicks! I love that this game will let me do this

Nice, I used a fully tuned Honda Civic 3 door si and took down a ford gt40 on rome circuit before in the Historic Car Cup.

Yeah, I enjoyed being able to take advantage of the lax restrictions in some places that GT2 provided. I liked it most because I could drive my favourite cars for quite a while without having to worry about swapping every race or two.

I remember racking up quite a tally on my Sileighty's odometer...

This is why I LOVE GT2. I love using the wrong type of cars for races, here are some that I exactly remember: winning the muscle car-infested Seattle 100 miles with nothing more than a race-modded '99 Primera with 328hp and FF. The Primera was nippy though :

I remember taking on the Muscle Car races with a quite-modded Subaru 360, and getting either 1st or 2nd places.
Of course, there's too many wide-open events calling for ~591hp, when 200-250 will do.

Run some if these events with Simulation tires, and suddenly...these races are a lot more difficult; you might want the extra horsepower! The physics model becomes a lot like GT4's.
