The limit PD has implemented could be a good thing.

I agree with working for your own items, but lets face it, IRL you can buy things used!

So a feature i would like for GT5 to get around this duping and trading issiue is a "Auction House" like they have in World Of Warcraft.

For those of you that dont know how the general features of the auction house is:
-Ingame, like the Online Car Dealership.
-Possability to place items for sale at a fixed price or as a timed auction.
-Searchable, so it wil be easy to find what your looking for.
-A most popular right now tab.
-Statistics to show what the item usualy goes for.

This would also give PD better control of the dealing in the game. And it eliminates the possabilitie of getting scammed.

I kinda agree. 👍
Let's hope this will happen on the next patch or the next patch or the next patch. :p

I am sorry to say that I do not like the idea of having an auction house, because certain cars' value will be hyped, no matter what you do to prevent it.

I would rather like: Increased credits for both A- and B-spec, X2010 level requirement (to buy) decreased to 30 or 35 (as this is the maximum levels most will achieve) and more seasonals.

I agree.

Like with FM3. Without bringing up the whole livery editor issue, but that would make the trading/non-racing aspect of the game massive.

I'd happily spend an evening designing a racing livery for a car, setting up the tuning and then listing it on the online auction house for people to buy.

Not everyone wants to always just race in GT5.

I never see anything unique or special when I see other racer's cars online.

You lost me, when you mentioned World of Warcraft.

What, like Forza?

I'm so sorry - I couldn't stop myself.
Actually the introduction of PP (*cough* like Fo..) has got me back into GT5 online.. things are getting much better. 👍

Solution - an electronic V.I.N.

Lets face it the "Cars" are actually just code, incorporeal vapourware.

If the main aim of PD, issuing patch 1.07, is to prevent duping of these cars, adding an unique Vehicle Identification Number to the existing code, so that only one version of the car exists, would simply prevent duplication.

However, the gifting of the car, trading of the car or even harvesting the car from an additional account could continue, provided the intention was only to have a single copy of each individual car.

The thought of someone paying money on e-bay for something that doesn't actually exist is ludicrous and must have irked PD that they missed the opportunity to cash in. :ouch:

I would create an account called Justin, just to play on the used car market :D

Maybe this will encourage PD to look into that "DLC" thing everyone keeps talking about...

I don't for one moment think, that they never had any intention for releasing DLC in the future, however, if and when released, it may be time to vote with your wallet.
