V8 Supercar *Rd. 5&6 Sunday 2/19 at 8:30 PM central*(one spot left)

OP modified, I cut out the Pepsi Max and Mother energy teams, we will limit the series to 12 drivers per race, RCS_LeagueMaster will be running our pace car with the exception of the Nurburgring. We will have a formation lap before the race start. For incidents with 3 or more cars we will run a 1 lap safety car period except when there are less than 2 laps remaining.
 
Do we have an exact parts list for the cars? I bought my camaro and did every upgrade I could (stage 3 engine) except the supercharger, but that only put me around 600 HP, which from what I am reading is going to be a bit short (650 HP?).
 
I'm interested. Just a couple of questions. What cars are still available? Have you guys started the series yet?

Series hasn't started yet, and I believe both cars are available at the moment.

Edit: Looks like one Camaro slot is open and two Challenger slots.

Add the supercharger, that will put you at the right power. I have an official schedule, but can't post an excel document as an attachment, click the bottom link in my signature to download the attachment for the official schedule.

Great, also for those who signed up to run the series we will be running a 6 hour endurance race on New Year's Day at Circuit de la Sarthe with unmodified Evo touring cars on racing tires at 11 AM US Central time. This will give us a chance to get to know you guys better. We are only 17 days away from the season opener at Daytona with 2 team spots remaining!

Dont know if I can run that long of an Endurance. I dont think my schedule (wife/kids) will allow it. But I'll show up to run a couple of laps for sure. 👍

For the cars in the series. We can modify as we please just as long as we dont go over the HP limit for whatever the track is?

You don't have to run softs, any racing compound, even if you just run a few laps an hour and stay in the pits, you should get a decent payout and help the rest of us.

For the series, yes you can tune the cars, check the OP for full details, but off hand I know that downforce is limited to 15 front 35 rear. For you engine, you just need to use the power limiter to get to a particular race's limit. Did you look at the schedule?
 
Only thing I can see is that the first race is at Laguna on the 22nd.

I know its early but has anyone practiced yet?

There should be an attachment in the OP of that thread. There has been practicing, since the update, I have only run Daytona, we're looking about 1:45 area.
 
Couple notes,

I will be running from my RCS_Carts43 ID

We are not running the Falcon as it is a standard car and has the improved suspension physics over the other Premium Cars

This thread is up and going right now on the Race Challenge Series forum www.rcsgt.tk

The pace car will be run from RCS_LeagueMSTR as often as we can. No guarantees.

P.S. The 6 hour endurance race was a pretty decent success. We started with 9, finished with 8 (one disco on lap 25) First place (Granddriver) was 4.2 million credits and 1.5 million XP. Also, first and second place were decided by only 30 seconds, third was 2:30 behind. Some GREAT racing... and we will be doing it again.
 
From whats been happening lately, I wouldnt want to push our participant list too much more, seems 12 is the magic number in rooms, and sometimes even that can be too many. Is fist race tomorrow?
 
I would love to sign up, im free on sunday nights, I prefer the Charger, but will race camaro if needed, also understand if you are already full.

Our two remaining spots are for Challengers, I assume that's what you mean, Either team Irwin Racing with a blue (Nissan 370Z color) and yellow (rims) paint scheme, or Bottle-O racing with the stock body color.
