Michelin Pilot V8+ Supercars Championship Challenge
^^^TAP LINK^^^

This series will be using modified Gr3 front engined, rear wheel driver race cars with V8 or larger engines making between 600-700hp with specified aero and transmission requirements. These cars feel and loosely emulate the Australian V8 Supercars.

Also to note, this is a parity series for those drivers that are fast and consistent, but not in the "Alien" status. Many of GT7's fastest drivers enjoy the competitive racing experience similar to real world racing...long and intense one on one battles and multi-car battles that tests all of your efforts. They are all of similar skill, pace, and consistency. For the rest of us, we live in a sim racing world of varying driver skillsets that result in short battles of a few corners, maybe a lap or two if you're lucky with many laps of running solo.

This series is intended to bridge the varying skill levels in an effort to afford us mortal sim racers a similar racing experience as those sim aliens and real world racers through manipulation of each drivers PP spec.

If you have read this far and are interested in what this series offers, please hit the link at the top of this page for more details.

Less than 2 weeks to go for the opening event. We have a 20 driver roster with the 16 grid spots based on a first to confirm attending basis and then reserve drivers in the order they confirmed.

We do have a full 16 car grid confirmed for March 3rd with 1 Reserve currently ready if needed.

We are always accepting new entries from all skill levels. This series utilizes driver specific regulations to establish pace parity regardless of skillset. In turn, this gets everyone within a pace range of approximately 7 tenths of a second from slowest to fastest on the roster. As a result, consistency and minimizing mistakes is what rewards a driver and ultimately induces many multi-car and multi-lap race battles.

Our last series saw 9 different overall event winners over nine 2 race events, and the Overall Championship Winner did not win any of these. Consistent placement in the top 5 overall across the season can and will have you in contention for the overall Championship. Winning will not come easy and if you do manage to win, it just gets harder to do so.

Have a peek at the replay capture of a recent practice session for this series. Cars with the blue banner are at a base 740.00pp regulation, cars with the red banners are running a hp handicap, and those with yellow banners are afforded concessions of more hp and/or a sticker compound tire. Pace overall has the group across the field very close in pace regardless of skillset.

If interested, please see the link in the post above for more series details and instructions on how to sign up for the series. It would be great to welcome some new names to the series.
