We have Super GT, WRC, NASCAR, GT3, LMP Championship racing. I suggest the popular V8 Supercars series as an awesome addition to the Gran Turismo world.

There are currently, a total of 25 drivers and cars participating in the 2015 V8 Supercars Championship. One car in particular has XBox sponsorship. So, it may be excluded from being in a Gran Turismo game. Next year, for 2016, there will be a total of 26 cars on the grid. Should the next GT have 24 or more cars, it would be quite fitting.

The cars changed slightly for 2013. I don't see a problem with getting as many V8s as there are NASCAR and Super GT cars. There are actually two seasons of NASCARs as opposed to only three(plus the base models) new Super GT 500 and one(plus base model) GT 300 car. Creating the 5 2014 V8SC marques (two from each) and base models(black and white versions) would be ideal for GT7. That would give 20 cars. Add the special Nismo/GT Academy liveries(currently 4 types for 2015), makes 24 possible cars if that is the grid maximum for GT7.

The NASCAR championship in GT6 uses Daytona, Willow Springs, High Speed Ring, Twin Ring Motegi and Indianapolis. I can a V8SC series using Bathurst, Brands Hatch, Mid-Field, Laguna Seca and Circuito de Madrid.
