how about we have some discussion (no flaming) in here about the Aussie V8 series here, or perhaps get a forum of our own to post in as there seems to be quite a few people interested in this series

no worries at all there guys was just trying to drum up some intrest and as Dodge said no one really replied to his "Clipsal 500" thread
obviously there aint that many people interested in this particular series

I don't think it's that well publicised outside Australia (perhaps New Zealand gets a lot of coverage). It gets about a page in Autosport, in the "international" section.

Yeah a V8 forum would be Kewl we get good coverage in New Zealand of the racing in fact we get to see the raceing live before our Trans tasman buddys across the ditch do guess thats why they're so bitter and twisted and wont under any circumstances let poor Greg Murphy have a FAIR chance at trying to win a race.

Only bad thing is that the V8 coverage in Aussie takes a commercial break every 5-10 minutes which is very annoying.

Yeah you guys get heaps of ads alright Bcos we get it live in NZ our commentators have to fill in the gaps when your guys are in commercials we easily only have half the ads. Spose thems the breaks when your not paying for it

It's not just the V8s that get loads of ads in Australia: THREE breaks in a Simpsons episode!
