Remember guys, tommorrow is the big day! Don't Forget! Unless you like the dog house!

What is everyone doing for their sweethearts?

Well, I am giving my girlfriend 6 roses in the morning, Daisy's (her favorite flower) delievered at her office, and then 6 more roses when I pick her up for dinner at Outback, and then maybe a movie afterwards (Daredevil comes out tommorrow)

A boquet of Roses delivered to her work tomorrow, a note and candy for her to find on the kitchen counter after I leave for work, and dinner at Black Angus. I'd get her jewelry but I pretty much busted the jewelry budget at Christmas with a 1.2 carat diamond pendant. Gotta save up for diapers :p

Also, I got her "Spray Roses." We both prefer them even though they cost less. Anyone heard of them? They are smaller, and have multiple roses per stem so you get like 20-30 per boquet, and they are all different colors, her's should be shades of pinks and purples. Very elegant and not so tired as the old red rose trick.

We don't get too excited around these types of holiday's. We'll go out to eat,... we decided on "Logan's." We don't plan on exchanging gifts.

Bah! I'm pissed. They delivered the flowers today. Today is not Valentines Day. The justification is that they can't do it all tomorrow. That's B.S. It's just not the same. I'm a stickler for that stuff. So when my wife calls me to thank me for the flowers I end up having to hide my disappointment, mostly, so as to not ruin the moment. Stupid 1-800-flowers.com

I order mine through 1-800-flowers too! I hope they didn't deliever mine today! My girlfriend doesn't work today, so I guess I am good.

I understand you being a stickler for that stuff... I am too!

I bought her 14 roses, one for every month she is my girlfriend.

Further more i'll take her to the musical "Aida", which she wanted to see for quite some time now.
Only downside to that is that i have to go see it too.
But hey, if it makes her happy, i am happy:D

No no no... you never mention luck. If he needs luck at this point... well, I hope he doesn't.

You really already know the answer if you're asking... or you should.

Your the last person I thought would be supersticious mile......

Fine,... he M5,... break a leg,... I hope your dick doesn't work on the honeymoon. j/k ;)

Is that better?

Yeah. I'm betting on yes. After all, we've been living together off and on for about a year...

Thats a big deal! Congrats! Let us know how she reacts!

How are you doing it? Details! ;)

Actually, I don't know. Nor do I have anything planned. My attitude toward women has always been impulsive.

It's just that it's still fresh in my mind and I thought about it a lot at the time. I knew she was going to say yes. We just wanted to do it tradional like. That's all.

I'm not doing anything spectacular tomorrow. I sent my boyfriend a book and I wrote him a poem :)

I want an update on how things go tomorrow, M5!!

Okay. I did it on July 28th 2001. I had the ring for a month before I did it. I took her to a bed and breakfast in Sedona. We went to a sentimental resturaunt where I had planned on proposing. I even had the staff in on it and I was going to hide it in her desert or something. But it's a small place and the table next to us had like 10 screaming kids. I was so pissed. So we left and my plan was thwarted. But I had spoken to the innkeepers before we arrived and had them put two red roses in a vase, a card I made, and a bottle of champaign on the table in our suite while we were out. When we walked in she saw the roses and the card. I picked up the card and handed it to her; I had dated the card on the inside "Engagement Day." The ring was already in my pocket. I think she saw engagement day first and started blowing a fuse right away, saying "oh my god" over and over. I got on one knee and asked to marry me :p. She just kept saying "oh my god" so I said something like "soooo.... " and she blurted out "yes!" Then we busted out that champaign and... uh... used the jacuzzi :D We went hiking the next day. The bed and breakfast was called The Wishing Well. We have that card I made (pressed flowers) framed in our bedroom and the two roses dried in a vase.

*edit*
In retrospect the original plan wasn't as good as it ended up working out. I wish I could thank those screaming kids.

So Doug, did you get her a nice rock?
