Hi

While playing GT5P last night the Daytona 'street course' (or whatever its called) in my V9 STI I begun to notice various problems with GT5P regarding sounds, and I'm wondering if anyone else has witnessed these issues.

1st: While using the roof / bonnet view (where the blow off valve is most audible), I noticed the blow off valve in the rex would be very loud if I would cane it in any gear, then coming off the gas WITHOUT changing gear. But if I did the same then changed gear, the blow off valve would be very quiet. Whats up with that?

2nd: Occasionally the blow off valve would be highly delayed, i.e I would come off the gas, then after a second or so, the blow off valve would just randomly go off. Strange.

3rd: When 'playing' off the main course of the track (i.e the parts of the track that are paved but not actually part of the track you race on), occasionally if I braked to a halt, suddenly out of nowhere there would be that loud BANG noise as if i'd hit the wall at 300Km/h. Annoying.

4th: My STI (haven't checked other cars yet) idles at zero RPM.....

Has anyone else witnessed or had issues like these?
I could now start ranting about the fact I HATE (!!!!!!!) you can't change gears while wheel spinning but thats been done to death already!

I don't know about the blow off valve, but the collision sounds have been talked about before. If you use the g25 clutch, the engine will rev down to zero if no throttle is applied. In order to change gears with the clutch, it has to be disengaged and you have to be at least be close with rev and gear matching. So yes it would make it difficult to change gears with the wheels spinning.

Yes Im aware of that, but no car idles at 0RPM!!
And yes I do use G25 and i'm fully aware how the clutch works, thats not the issue....

i haven't personally noticed the BOV stuff,
but what you mentioned don't really seem like "fails" to me...
give them a break, its a demo

Most of my cars idle without me giving it any revs, and I'm using the 6axis. I think it's just a bug in the game. Well I think you shouldn't get mad, this is why we got the Prologue version, so that problems like this won't happen in the full game.

There was a thread for various glitches within GT5p. I can't remember what it was called though, perhaps someone can find a link to it.

I think this would be good in there :)
