I'd be pretty sure that a lot of these personal ideas would be best-suited to be implemented in a future GT game rather than via an update to Sport - what do you think? I also understand that potentially, these design decisions were made given GT Sport's nature of not being a more orthodox "GT7."
-Modifying TCS, fuel-map, and Brake Balance (and that other factor only in Gr.B cars) should only be tunable mid-race if the real-world car was able to do so. On top of this, modifying these values at all - even when not on the track - should only be accessible via an upgradable part, and would be a restricted value when tuning is prohibited. When tuning is prohibited - or without the part - the values will be a default value that best-matches the real-world car. If you are to buy a car that can have these values changed without further upgrades, then the default values could reflect the typical values set by the manufacturer or driver, especially in GT3 cars or LMPs.
-I recall that in the GT4 Toyota demo, there was a special UI for both cars in the demo. Was this in the final version of GT4, too? Where you could see the power flow of the Prius' hybrid system, and that neat tire display for the MTRC? Did the MTRC in GT4 also lift itself when moving from tarmac to gravel, or was that also in the demo? The point I'm getting at by bringing this up is that I think it'd add more character to the cars if they had neat UI differences. I'm not asking for every single car to have unique options or UI, that's ridiculous. But I think the MFD has a lot of potential for this sort of thing, especially for cars that have DRS/KERS and other on-the-fly features, like launch/sport modes, or how NFS Payback allowed you to play with the power map for the new BMW M5 F90. Perhaps there could be a way to only use the hybrid system, or just the petrol engine. I also wonder about the electric cars, since Kaz wants to add Formula E... How, for example, would you recharge the BMW i3? I suppose that gameplay-wise, it could work just like a normal pitstop, as if the crew were using some sort of super-fast charger.
-What about pit stops and having their duration potentially be affected by cars that have panels covering their wheels, like the Jaguar XJR-9? Or, perhaps, if you used wheels that weren't center-lock?
-Another idea I had would be to not be able to select between AT/MT in the options, but rather on a car-by-car basis, where you basically get what you get when buying a given vehicle. You can clearly see in the GT Sport settings menu that there's a wide variety of transmissions represented at least in name, but sometimes it doesn't really feel like it. It could be especially fun for vehicles that have features like allowing you to switch between MT/AT on the go, for example. Overall, like the other ideas I've listed, this is potentially another thing that could add more character to each vehicle.
-What about the various bespoke divisions we've been hearing more about lately? Do you suppose that players should have the option to further customize their car by using groups like "Q by Aston Martin," or the McLaren MSO Bespoke division? I think on the developer-side of things, I'd understand if these services would need to be abbreviated in their hypothetical in-game representation; perhaps only the most popular options could be available, or perhaps personal favorites by PD.
-As an aside, why do you suppose the Toyota FT-1 Concept was placed in Gr.X? Aren't there weight figures that could be accounted for, to place it in the N-series?
-On a last note, have we heard anything about cockpit views for the cars that lack them within GT Sport? Such as if they're planned to eventually be added, either in an update or in a future title? I know that there are some VGTs that lack an interior, but some other non-VGT concept cars didn't have any interior when they were revealed, like the S-FR Racing Concept (or, in GT6, the FT-86 II) but do you suppose PD should render one, or perhaps request one be drawn up by the respective designers of those models?
