A car notable for a number of reasons. The Astra Coupe was a stalwart of the "BTC" era that was a stop gap in touring car racing in britain following the demise of the Super Touring era. This particular Astra was notable as being fuelled solely on crop biofuel. It wasn't bad either - Fiona Leggate managed a star drive to gets a points finish in her second ever touring car meeting at Mondello Park. She would also manage a 5th place at Silverstone, all time record for a female driver in the BTCC. Also the chassis was an ex works Triple 888 one, previously used by Yvan Muller in 2004.
