I have been playing Voyage of the century
Its a on line MMOG --or whatever you call games with a bunch of people playing it ..lol
basicaly you start off as noob with a Ship --and you get to roam around a persistent world , somewhat based in history --of sailing ships.
The Cartoon developement --your avatar--or account , is extensive .
its all skill based and like a RPG , you gain exp .
Your ships also gain exp --its how you grow them .
There are three types of ships
Adventure -Raider --Closest would be a brigintine --or latin rig
Merchant --big fat slow ..
Warships--most interesting looking , aside from the raiders.
There is harvesting-crafting-PvP -Guilds and clan wars-sea battles .
Planting-fishing .
all types of diversions ..lol
The best part is its free.
it runs off a item mall--the items can be purchased using game silver , in game from players.
so if you dont want to pay to play --and have a ton of time to fart around and make silver-you can get most anything you want.
TIME =silvers ...and this game can be a HUGE time sink..just so much to do .
its also fairly social .
I guess if your a friendly type --you would thrive in this game.

Its what Uncharted waters new horizons would be like --without having to pick a character to play . YOU are the main focus of the story..although I guess you can play a role if you want ..
