Vega or Wega

I know, I know, you must think what an idiot for asking this! Stupid question! I'm pretty sure it's pronounce Vega, but my friend has his heart set that it is Wega. IMHO a poorly marketed word.

By the way, I'm refering to Sony's line of high end TVs, for the slow oned
