Vehicles not available?? GT5

I notice that in some of the A-Spec races the vehicle required might be a Pickup truck for example. Yet, in the used cars and new cars, that vehicle is not available. How can I participate in a race if the vehicle is not available? I'm finding it hard to advance if I can't participate in every race in the series.

Look in the online collector dealership do some other races and wait for one to come for sale or get one from a friend

The used car dealership's vehicles change every two game days. (Doing one race counts as one day.) Like @finlandwrc said, you might wanna check the online dealership.
