Hey everyone! I present to you my 08 Pontiac G6.

So in essence, this is a daily driver and fuel saver. But it does have a sportier side. With a 2.4L DOHC I-4 at 164hp it gets up and goes.

I have had it since I was 16 when my mom bought it new. Since then I have taken over payments, insurance, and gas. Only has 20k miles so it's still essentially new. It has some scratches but is dent free (knock on wood). I am going to get something more sporty eventually but due to work issues I haven't had the money available.

No mods on it as I need it as reliable as possible. Only thing I want to do soon is get some new wheels. Recommendations?
 
Yes I like those a lot. Only tricky thing is new tires too....I'm sitting on 16s now so I'd have to get all new tires as well.

Whatever you do, don't stick with 16s to save money by not having to get new tires. My mom did that a couple years ago on a Toyota Highlander with 15 inch wheels. I still can't get over how silly it looks, nice wheels, but they're so itty-bitty, that they look ridiculous on the car. :dunce:

Not too much. It's a DD. I really don't want any kind of performance parts because I don't want to have to get a tune. I'm Thinking wheels, also I am thinking about a small spoiler. Other than that it's staying stock. I am also looking at buying a new car. Can't decide if I want to buy something new like a '12 WRX STI or a BRZ, or used and keep the G6. Was thinking an old Supra, RX-7, or older WRX STi. Idk. It's up in the air at the moment. Money is an issue.
 
Well, the BRZ is a very nice car, and if you don't need four seats then I would recommend it. You might even manage better mileage in it than the G6.

Well you see, my mom works there, so I'm like a driving billboard. But i need to get some new ones. They are not doing so well.
