Founded by Pre-War BMW tuners Ernst Loof, Georg Meier and Lorenz Dietrich, Veritas were a shortlived car company who were famous for dominating the German 2-Litre series in the late 1940's. The cars were initially called Veritas-BMW but an objection from BMW meant the cars were renamed to simply Veritas.

The first street legal Veritas was a car known as the Comet Coupe, which was really just a street legal version of the Veritas RS race car, however production ended in 1950 due to a lack of funding. The car was built on a BMW 328 chassis with a BMW 2.0 Inline 6 producing 130 HP.

While they look similar, they are separate cars. This car has a different front bumper and lacks the vents on the side, and there are probably many more differences. Also, while this was just a street legal Veritas RS, I believe the C90 was built from scratch (could be wrong).
I didn't notice that. I don't know anything about Veritas and my English is not so good so I thought it was mostly the same :)

Either way, you have suggest a nice car :)
