MetaJust found a great combo, and it looked like a good spot race 👍.

Car: S Class Gillet Vertigo
Track: Midfield
Race: Hotlap: Arcade->Free Run

Rules: General rules, no wall touching, 2 wheels on track at all times, no cheating etc.

All T Times and final times may be posted in the thread. I will keep a conituous leaderboard in this post. There is no deadline. Have fun :)👍.

I'll leave it off the leaderboard for now, I'm sure you'll beat your time ;). Wouldn't want to scare anyone off :sly:. I did some laps with Rico on the combo, and I was within .2 of his time, but couldn't match his T1 so I know I can improve. Getting under 1:06 will be my goal.

Whoops, meant my goal to be 1:06 not 1:16 ;). I think with a good session I will be able to reach it 👍.

I'm running it at the moment, right on Mr. P's heals right now at 1'06.030 after about 10 laps. I'll be in the 1'05's shortly. 👍
 
If anyone has replays, just post them up along with the lap time 👍.
 
I got a 1'05.985 lap after some more laps, that was fun just trying to knock off a couple hundredths to break 1'06.

I'll leave my time right there for now. I'll come back to it later, and I'll post my replay sometime within the next day. (I would post it now - but I have to remove my HD from the PS2 in order to get my SharkPort to work.)
 
With much anticipation for GT4, this looked like a good way to knock the rust off. 👍

Haven't gotten behind the MOMO since BC3, so it was fun get back on the track.

After some laps, came away with a 1'06.461. Terrible T-1, left .4 there as I missed the rumbles completely but put the rest of the lap together nicely.

Good to see another wheel racer in the challenge. :)

For information to those that don't know, I use the Logitech Driving Force Pro.
 
Thanks JB. Would have preferred reverse if it had to be Midfield, but still fun anyway.

Heading over to Comp USA tomorrow to try and grab a DFP. Shame that the MOMO won't work with GT4 as I have loved it from the start, and it still performs exactly as it did on day 1, about 3 years ago? One impressive wheel imo, I hope the DFP is as good.

Again I left some time at T1, this time just a bit less, but I nailed the rest of the course, although with some more laps I think I could go faster.
 
Just grabbed a good hour on this and with a new DS2 as my trusty silver one has been beaten up too much :indiff: anyway it took me a good 30 mins to get a run in the 1.05's again 👎 I had a 1.05.760 with an off in the last tunnel :grumpy: ..... here's my best clean save

20.101 / 39.665 = 1.05.851

I'll go back for some more tomorrow and then post the replay which will be in NTSC :)

Awesome time! No way I could go that fast. I reckon I'd get 1'08, 1'07 if I'm lucky.

humm nice times of you guys. I personally hate this track, tried some and got nasty 1"06.417

First sector: 20.390
Second: 40.173

i am sure i can down more...by far it´s not the track i enjoy driving =/

But let´s keep fun =)
