Sooo I saw this car and was like "WOOOOOW" I gotta have it!! spec were right and I was a few 100k short on the Jaguar XJ-R9 race car.

did I make a bad purchase?? 2mill Plus in the tiolet??

if so, If anyone needs it for there collection, I will be happy to trade it in for somthing else

If you're collecting all cars in the game: no
If you bought it for winning races: yes

:)

Sadly..it's the latter..

time to grind.cr again

Somebody mentioned in another thread that it jsut needs a little tuning, and re-gearing for higher top end. Don't give up on it. :)

And it's a very pretty car, so I can understand you wanted it. Maybe after some tuning it's useful for Bob so you can get to admire it while the race-droid is toiling away for you. 👍

:) Thanks for the incouragement man, Only lvl 12 in B-spec Bobb will have to wait a bit.

Maybe somebody has posted a tune for it in the tuning section. It has a lot of power, so if somebody tamed the handling, it could really be a beast.

Very unique car -- always happy to see it on the car list when I go racing.

I let Bob1, Bob2 and Bob3 loose with the Vertigo RaceCar for 24hrs of Le Mans shannanigans a few weeks back.

Flipped back to see them come in 10th, effectively wiping out the entire point of entering them.

On paper, it's great and it's one of my favourite-sounding cars. Very lazy and Belgian.

But yes, it does need some specific tuning to get it to corner more actively than an overweight Labrador, stapled to the ground with tent pegs.

dude you dont need to lose your car, use it for trade , i can trade if you for any car you want, ill just send you the car, then i reset the data and that it, me and you have the car now !

Idiot may be a tad harsh. I was thinking more along the lines of dumb.

It's the best a man can get etc. etc.

A bit of tuning and get the backside to stop flying out and it's actually a great car that 'can' compete and win in some of the long championships before you start to get to Endurance mode.

Spend some time gettting it right and you won't be disappointed.

I'm getting this Gillet on Friday ... Hope it's as good as you guys say if a bit of time and money is put into it.

I have tried most of the tuning settings posted for the Vertigo and it still corners badly. Looking at the specs, its performance should be similar to the Toyota GT-One and Minolta, the Nissan R92CP and R89C, and the Sauber C9. Well maybe not quite that good, but it should be close. Sadly, it is not. I kinda wish they had included a street (stock) version of this car in GT5.

We just need to accept that it does not turn well and drive it accordingly, while appreciating its straight-line speed.

In other words, pretend it's a Veyron. :)

....Did I make a bad purchase?? 2mill Plus in the toilet??

With the proper coaching, I think that Bob can use it to win the Sunday Cup-Beginner Series:D

HA!..........Exactly^^^^^

It's a shame because it was a monster in GT3. I liked the red livery a lot better too

I saw the title and totally had to drop in to say "Yes".

But ya, the car gets 0-60 okay, but I remember lapping it often when grinding that 5 lap race in Like the Wind
