Very annoying bug (@ Red Bull Ring?)

Well, it happened at the RBR but maybe happens in other places...

I was running 1st in a 20 laps race and then I entered the pits two laps to the end (pitstop required) and I GOT STUCK IN BOXES FOREVER, till the end of the race and I obviously finished last (well I actually didnt finish) :banghead:

Anyone else??
 
You must race for an Italian team and pitted during lunch... Or your car had damage and the pit boss forgot to notify you it's over then they all went to lunch... I find myself having to use my imagination more with GT than about any other game... But really, that is a pretty bad bug...

I can't for the life of me get any code logic that would do that unless there is a safe release algorithm that got messed up or pitted you at a poor angle and locked you there...
 
pitstops in GT6 are weird, some people got stuck in the pits. One because his auto union couldn't take the turn at laguna seca pitstreet, he couldn't get out and the game kept resetting the car.

Damage was disabled and I entered the pits perfectly fine... :ouch:

I think that by 'poor angle' Lawndart means that your AI driver parked the car in not quite the place the game expected him to.

I was racing online with some friends and i had to pit on the 2nd last lap for fuel when my pit AI just drove through the pits without stopping. it happened 5 times in one night. Really like wtf PD. Its a different bug but still get the pits sorted out ffs!
 
a "bug" is when you do pitstop in the final lap, bob just does a drive-thru,you win with a gap of 10-20+ seconds and it counts as a pitstop.
 
Suggestion: A curious player on here might try loading a short track TT and pitting every lap and pay close attention to any small variance in how it auto pits...

One who likes monotony could try it with several cars of varying size...

Then report the results.
 
I went to time trials and drove one lap with BMW 507 and one of the rounds, I went to off track (in grass), then I returned to track and suprisingly, my lap wasn't invalidated... :lol:

Happened to me when using the X2010 going of the track and no validated lap time.
