Guys! You won't believe it! PD is working on a manual w/ clutch system! They've already implemented it on one car. It has a manual with clutch system, but with an auto clutch. When you are at low speeds the system will automatically get on the throttle to keep the car from stalling! This is a major find! I really wish I could show you guys, but I'm posting this from mobile, so you'll just have to see it for yourselves!

THE CAR: GT-R Concept LM Race Car

Note: I won this car from the seasonal event. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

It's done that since GT5. As it has with many different GT-R models and several other cars that only have an automatic gearbox in real life.

Not sure why this was IMPORTANT enough to post three times in three different forums, including the Opinions & Current Events forum...

Have you heard the car though? It seriously sounds like a manual with clutch being pressed in.

Honestly I think that if you drove the car, you would understand that it is not normal for a car in gt6 to behave this way...

Yes I have.

I have done - I've driven all the cars from GT1 through to GT6. It is normal and has been, as I said, since GT5 with this GT-R, some other GT-Rs and some other auto-only vehicles in the game.

It doesn't necessitate three threads and a double-post.

Ok, understandable. But also doesn't necessitate you, as an administrator, being rude about it. Sorry that I had gotten excited, would you not feel the same way if you had never driven the car before?

I'm fairly sure most would just pass it off as nothing more than a neat little oddity. Not newsworthy in any way.

And besides, he's not being rude. You're just taking it that way.

He's not using caps, and posting in color and bold doesn't give off any emotion at all.
Agreed. That's just what Famine does - doesn't mean he's trying to be rude.

When he uses bold/ caps or italics, it is very easily taken as rude. As in writing these can show emphases or emotion.
That's just how he is. A bunch of people in here use colored text to direct attention to important posts or to just use it because it's neat.

I've driven the car plenty of times in the past but haven't seen (or heard) anything radically different about it.

For the less wise among us (me), why is this auto clutch thingy a good thing?

Which, handily enough, are neither of the reasons for The Indigo One's posting style.

:)

It does look a bit overwhelming and imposing at first, because his posts are in big, bold, bright letters. But it's nothing to worry about, really, because later on you'll know that you can edit how your text appears in your posts.
