...But is LM and Le Mans the same thing because LM cars look like done up road or sports cars where as Le Mans cars look strange with very good aerodynamics like the 908 and the 787B.
Help Please. :nervous:
Could you please move this to the other forum, didnt realise it was in the wrong place sorry.

Some of them are fantasy cars, such as the Pagani Zonda LM Race car.

LM cars that aren't Le Mans race cars were created just for Gran Turismo, many of which have featured in past GT games. Here's a full list of the Fantasy LM Race Cars in GT5:

Chevrolet Camaro LM Race Car
Ford Ford GT LM Race Car
Ford Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II
Ford Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car
Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car
Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car
Honda S2000 LM Race Car
Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car
Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car
Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car
Nissan Fairlady Z Concept LM Race Car
Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car
Pagani Zonda LM Race Car

So there is no such thing as LM cars that look like road cars?

But does LM and Le Mans meen the same thing?

Well, what word represent the 'LM' beside Le Mans?
Can't think of any though... :p

But does LM and Le Mans meen the same thing?

Yes, it pretty much does mean the same thing.

The cars that have "LM" at the end of their name are generally speaking so road cars built up, by PD, in a similar style to the GT class cars that run at Le Mans or ALMS or other national GT Championships.

They're not genuine cars, as they don't exist in real life, but if Mazda did build an RX-8 to run in a GT class at Le Mans, it would probably be very similar to GT5's Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car.

So there is no such thing as LM cars that look like road cars?

They are based on road cars, it's just that they have been turned into racing variants of their road going counterparts by PD. I mean the Zonda LM clearly looks similar to the road going version.

So the cars in GT5 with LM on the end of their name are fantasy and they do not take part in real life Le Mans races.

Not all of them are fantasy, such as the Jaguar XJR-9 LM Race Car '88. It's a Group C car.

So the cars in GT5 with LM on the end of their name are fantasy and they do not take part in real life Le Mans races.

Yes, they don't take part in any Le Mans races.

Nothing to add except I absolutely love the Fairlady Z Concept LM Racecar and cannot wait tonwin or pick-up the GTR version. Nice cars PD.
