OK first off, I've been playing GT since '97. I like to say I've gotten pretty good at using a controller. But I'd now in the market for a G25/7. Looking at the comparisons between the two, their pretty much the same to me. So I'll probably save a few bucks and get the G25. That being said...
Is it worth it in the long run and will a wheel generally make you better/faster?(with practice of course...) I win probably 3/4 of my races online, but I just don't feel using a controller anymore is very satisfying. Feathering the throttle at low gear/RPMs is next to impossible. Playing the GT6 demo, I feel handcuffed using a DS3. Just doesn't seem like a controller on a "real driving simulator" is cutting it anymore. I'm just kinda looking for any input for a veteran controller user in general regarding a g25/7. Anything I should know before laying down the $$$?
Thanks.
