Hey. Just got the game opening day (and for those of you not sure wether to get it or not, GET IT!!!), and I'm wondering
if anyone knows how to hook-up a PS2 to a Compaq Comp. monitor. It would be EXTREMELY useful, and it would be
even more useful if it was possible with normal household materials (I already know how to hook it up to my stereo
system, RFU TV without an adapter, etc.). Well, thanks in advance.

You would need a VGA adapter and I don't believe there are any for PS2. If one does exist, it would be very expensive. You could go to Radio Shack and pick up a S-Video to VGA converter and use that, but the quality will only be S-Video, since the source is S-Video.

There is no official one because the Ps2 doesn't look as good in high definition as the Dreamcast used to. (Large frame buffer, 640x480 on many games)
I'm sure there are others running around as well, but this isn't something you can do with "things around the house."
