I've started this thread for people who regularly do the Sunshine Auto Street Races. Here's my experience with each race. Feel free to add your own experiences.
Terminal Velocity
I've done this race enough time to realise that a time of 42 or 43 seconds is theoretically possible. But I somehow haven't managed to pass 45 seconds. No matter how many times I race I can't drive the last couple of hundred yards smoothly. I somehow managed to slide all over the place when driving through the last curve. Jeez it's tough. I reckon 42 seconds is a reasonable best time for this race. I know that 44 seconds has been posted by someone recently. Fair dues to you mate, whoever you are.
Ocean Drive
For this race I use a PCJ600. I've done it dozens of times and I reckon that my best time of 53 seconds could be reduced by a coupe of seconds yet. It's pretty much a run of two straight runs seperated by a turn that's hard to take at max speed on a PCJ. But it's still beatable. I believe that 0:50 is possible.
Border Run
I spent about 2 hours in a row today doing this race over and over and I managed to equal my best time of 1:12 a couple of times. On one occasion I equalled it but managed to smash into the lamppost whilst turning into the last turn. I reckon that a time of 1:09 is possible to get in a Hotring Racer. I'm gonna try this race a few more times tomorrow if possible.
Capital Cruise
Now this is an easy enough race. There isn't a whole load of awkward turns. The opening couple of hundred yards can screw you up so easily. But there's also a long straight run from the bottom of the island up to the sharp turn down towards the finish. And this is what screws me up. I can hit the corner north with a time of 38 seconds, but I can't manage a perfect run from there to the finish. I reckon that 1:25 is possible here.

Jeez, what a ***** of a race. This race requires patience. Lots of it. I've managed a time of 1:58 but I reckon by adding my best times from various sections that 1:55 is at least possible and that even 1:53 may be theoretically possible.
VC endurance
I've done 3:59 on this race and heard of a source that claims that 3:41 is possible. I don't know about that. This race is so frustrating that I don't know what's possible. It's such a hard act to manage a perfectly clean run for the while race.
Those are my thoughts. Those with any other worthwhile opinions (Famine, Sleek Stratos, small_fryz etc.) feel free to add your opinions and experiences.
