AHHHH!!!!

That would suck major arse-age. I would hate my life if that happened. I hope the dude didn't get hurt too bad, that looked painful.

As I look back on it, though, how did a camera get in his car for this? Was it staged?

The in-car cam is from a company that installs the video equipment in a companies fleet vehicles.

Meaning this guy was driving his work vehicle. Companies sometimes install video cameras in their vehicles to monitor employee driving habits. BEWARE.

Did anyone notice what looks like the Frontal G loads and Side G loads designated as FG and SG respectively on the bottom of the screen?

When he hit it looked as if a G force of 7.9 was reached in the frontal G impact.

and 10.3 for SG

the neck is put to a 4000newtonmeter (!!) at a crash at 40mph....this guy was lucky as h*ll....

*edit*

Ahh, another fine piece of material to add to my "Idiots" section of my vids. thank you :) god, that guy didnt even take his arm off the seat....not that it wouldve helped anything, but if i started crashin like that i wouldve instinctivly put both hands on the wheel and hung on for dear life!

holy **** that was scary.
the mother****er is lucky he didnt fly out the front window...
i fell a sleep at the wheel once, on my way home from work and almost hit a volvo on the freeway, but in the last second i woke up and corrected my van.

Driving drowsy from lack of sleep kills more people annually than driving drunk.

Someone else commented about him not having two hands on the wheel. This is more important than you might imagine. I have a friend that does this as well and it drives me nuts. You don't have to have two hands on the wheel all the time, but if you're having difficulty holding the wheel with one hand don't you think two hands might do a better job? My friend that drives one handed uses his other hand to brace his body (what the hell) on the arm rest. A cooshy armrest is less supportive than a fixed steering wheel!

Seatbelts Seatbelts Seatbelts!! You have to be a complete moron to not wear one.

He shot into the back seat and his head went out the window. How do you figure he's lucky? From the front passenger window it appears the car is on its side. I do believe his head was crushed, or at least mangled quite badly.
