tell me how u guys think since no one really posted ne replys in the old one, THE TECH.
I give it a:
Technique: ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘/๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Not bad,and you even used a inuyasha theme ending for your video.never thongh of puting anime music for my gt videos before, desides initial D.but anyway cool drift video, keep up the good work.

Well i just finished watching it. It seems that your technique is power over, and that you could have pushed the MR2 more, from what i can tell you were using super spft tires? but the edting was a little rough. other then that keep up the good work.

umm... there have been comments already, and i must agree with rx7 drifter. your drifts needs much more smoothness, but overall, the impression was pretty good. You seem to drift better in AWD *you're getting more angle and more smoothness*. As sd would say... work on your countersteer, thats the main problem with your rough drifting. On several of the corners, you regained grip halfway through with excessive countersteer and actually drove grip-style out of the corner. Another suggestion would be to try to drift more of the corners in the vid instead of going through all those chicanes grip-style.
Lastly, as rx7 said, push your mr2 harder and don't be afraid of getting more angle. These mr cars oversteer quite easily so getting more angle shouldn't be that hard, you just need to not be afraid of the angle. Again, i think more angle will come with more consistent oversteer because you won't be afraid of spinning out as much. Stop tapping the d-pad or pushing the analog all the way. Use the analog to fine-tune your countersteer.

just my two cents,
Chishi

Yea u might get more angles, but u will be losing alot more speed, and too much angle for anything drivetrain other than AWD will make a car to spin out

So how do you think sd and swift and lifewater and them drift the fr's with such extreme angle? it's practice. Do not give up and think that the car will spin out if you don't even try. If it is spinning out that much, then work on your countersteer like i said and the throttle control, which is key in fr. Also, what do you mean lose speed? if you're doing exhibition drifting, which from what i saw you are... speed does not matter.

just my two cents,
chishi

I know it spins out because I do try, the only thing i need to do is setting to make it better at drifting, and i dont like to use othe peoples settings

Chishifu, thanks for including me with SD and Lifewater. I don't think I'm at there level...yet :sly: But it's cool to know people think I have skillz.

Whitedragon, Chisifu is correct. Exhibition isn't about speed. Granted a certain amount of speed is needed. But honestly, I feel that exhibition drifting is all about grace and style. It is very possible to achieve serious angle in FR's with control and fluidity while not spinning out. It's simply a matter of practice. You should've seen my first drift clip! LOL! So just keep practicing and go further then you think you can go. You'll be surprised with what happens! :)

I was just noticing that whitedragon seems to listen to you and totally disregards what i have to say... haha, but you're word holds more influence than mine =) keep it up man, i've seen nice progression in your challenges

I know what you mean. When I first got here, nobody listened to me at all. But after a few months people began to understand that I knew what I was talking about. And hte fact taht I got inducted on an incredible team didn't hurt either! ;)

So just keep posting intelligent stuff bud, it'll come around for you.
