Hey guys, just looking through the video section and I thought about creating a thread where people can share their greatest montages, movies, edits etc. This would be like what they have in some of the photomode threads, gathering peoples best photographs together in 1 thread, sharing them and others giving constructive criticism to see what they can improve (you get the point....👍). I had a search before I created this and nothing like this really came up, if I'm wrong please post and embarass me and shut the thread down. :)

First off....My video editing skills are just beyond beginner, but i want to learn and develop as we all do.:) That means I won't be starting the ball rolling but I will post some eventually, when my skills become a little more advanced.

I'd like to see some ultra slow motion shots of cars drifting or something like that, I think that would be cool. Who knows I could learn to do this soon hopefully.:confused: This is if any one is up for it, just saying that I think that would be pretty cool to see from you guys.

Just a few other things:

-Try and embed the video or provide a link if thats not possible.

-I know a lot of players don't own a capture card like myself, but try and record to the best possible quality that you can achieve. Such as recording your screen from a camera, try to reduce shake as much as possible whilst recording (hope you get ma drift).:dopey:

Have to say guys, great vids! Really enjoyed watching them all. Nice editing skills to the both of you as well. :)

Sunjeeve- Sweet slowmotion, what software do you use to edit/ ad effects etc? After effects....? Final cut (or what ever its called).....? Also one last question are you using the Twixtor plug-in to create this effect? Just wandering because I'm learning after effects and twixtor slowly (but surely):)

Tidgney- Great vid again, same question goes to you..... what software do you use to edit your vids?

Cheers for the embed for some reason it didn't work when I did it, was a bit random but there we go lol.

I Use Sony vegas 10, and some of after effects also :).
 
Sweet I have a little more knowledge on Vegas than after effects but not much more. ;)

Im going to have a shot at some slow-mo shots later on (if i got some time spare) then post them up when I'm done.

There's no slow motion but I tried to sync the video with the music best as I could. More information on the video can be found in the description or here.

I used Sony Vegas for editing and Hauppauge HD-PVR for capturing. Somewhere the video is getting slight motion blur of which I'd like to get rid of, I think Vegas is to blame.
 
Awsome vids guys, keep up the good work. hopefully i should have some time tonight to complete my slow-mo vids, not definate though. cheers:)
