Hey, this is a video I have spliced together in a semi-TV style to showcase a fantastic and probably one of the best races I have taken part in so far in Forza 2. This race happened a few nights ago and was a 2 lapper round the 'Ring' and it started off very well and then about half-way through the front 3 all sort of stuck together right through and were very very close coming into the final lap, the video is of that final lap.

Due to Forza 2's abysmal replays I had to record the same replay about 6 times for the angles that had to be used to make up for the utter dross we are defaulted with, such as 'floating cam', 'follow me cam', 'round and round cam' and of course 'tree cam'.

It's on youtube just now as I was testing quality so a usual higher quality version may surface later. Anyway enough talk, hope you enjoy the video and as always feedback appreciated.

Cheers! 8)

Thanks socom, the cars were all B Class, that and A are always varied in the cars used especially if you switch off TCS and STM then you don't get the Muscle Muppets coming in and glitching with there 900bhp Chargers and the like.

Hey now, not all of us guys who like the older cars are bad. The difference is, some people can drive them and others can't. Personally, I like driving the older cars, but thats just me...

Either way, shutting off the stability control makes it much better and separates the men from the boys. I was in a race the other night and we shut off the driving line and I was shocked by how many folks quit. It isn't as though its that hard.

Right now though, my favorite thing to do is take my Gumball Bentley out and scare a few folks in the A-class races. The car performs shockingly well, and the size often plays to my advantage. Its easy to block with, and furthermore, even if they try to push me out of the way, their 2500 lb WRX won't do anything to a 4000+ lb VW... I mean, Bentley...

Hey YSSMAN I never meant those who use the Muscle Cars are lousy drivers or anything, it's that there is a glitch - in fact a couple - that first will allow you to put 900bhp into them and when doing so the PI number will actually go down! Secondly there is another glitch that will turn any RWD or FWD car into AWD and this is why many scoreboards are chock full of Muscle Cars at the top by a good 4-5 seconds on short tracks. And due to the massive power glitch and now the AWD a few people are glitching in races.

You can stop them though by making sure no TCS and STM is on and that you have Sim Damage and Sim Tire and Fuel Wear.

Nice racing. The Jag was getting raggedy through the last section, and i thought the NSX was going to make a pass stick, but then seeing the NSX almost fully sideways through the miniKarussel was proof he was trying really hard!

Sweet.

Thanks Venari, I was pushing that NSX to it's limit for most of the race but the Jag just had the legs on me even when he went on the grass her still carried a fair amount of momentum which annoyed me. I could have been more aggressive but I just don't like the risk of taking people out, had a good few races though since then with rubbing and blocking all over the place, nothing bad or malicious, just good clean aggressive fun. lol

Very nice video and race! Some pretty amazing driving towards the end and you can clearly see the leader feeling the heat from the M3 and NSX because he started making a few mistakes towards the end! I laughed at your Forza replay comment because it's so true. I do not know what the guys at Turn10 were thinking when they did the replays and thought it was good. I love the "tree cam" the most because all the actions on the track are missed but we get to look at the pretty trees. LOL!

The NSX was getting some good speed coming off the turn allowing it to catch up but in the end what won it for the Jag was that it had much more bullocks under brakes than the NSX.
Due to the fact I race clean I had to give up on my push at that part as he had the inside line and I would've risked taking him or both of us out and I don't race that way. As I've said I race aggressive but always clean. Not to mention he shut the door on me a couple of times forcing me to slow down.

Cheers Quiet Storm, you are indeed right about the replays, they are nothing short of atrocious, you would have thought they would have learned their lesson from Forza 1.

Appreciate yous taking the time to reply so thanks for that.
