Video threads crashing Safari on iPhones

Each time I click on a thread that contains a large amount of videos on a page, namely the Cool and Amazing video thread and Funny Vid Thread, it crashes Safari on my iPhone. I would expect that to lag my phone a lot, but I'm surprised that it always crashes it. Is there a way for me to alleviate this, or will there be a fix to this coming soon? I really don't want to skip visiting my favorite threads because of technical issues.
 
Phones only have a limited amount of RAM and image/video heavy threads surpass that quickly, hence the crash. That's the reason I've started skipping those threads when I'm on my phone and going back to them on my PC.

:/ Alrighty then. I might start browsing GTP from my PS3 then.
 
Yeah my iPod does this as well, same with image heavy threads.
