Edit ... on PS2
Some homebrew videos, just to let see some import games with ForceFeedback wheel, for those who didn't give a try yet.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
SEGA RALLY 2006
First Stage
(14Mo Divx, Can't do better)
http://dessintern.free.fr/Videos/Sega Rally 2006/sr06a.divx
The game itself with wheel is good, calibration ok, 60 fps stable (or barely)
ForceFeedback isn't really great, we feel stones and bumps on the road, but no "glide" effect of different surfaces generaly(it's what i like on arcade cabinet).
Loading times are long (as tracks are very short).
I would write more when I finished it, anyway it's a good game
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VIRTUA RACING
http://dessintern.free.fr/Videos/VirtuaRacing/vr.divx
As you can see Force Feedback here is a disaster... nevertheless the game is really great with a Joypad, I will not go further with this one, it's unplayable or with a great effort and training (not sure).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BATTLE GEAR 3
Troisième Vidéo sur Battle Gear 3
http://dessintern.free.fr/Videos/BattleGear/BG.divx
Not bad at all, Force Feedback is good (not to strong, it glides well, I can feel drifts), roads are very tight, the game is thought this way (hard to overtake a car).
A good litle game, realy arcade, must be great on versus mode (other cars are present in versus mode).
All is in Japanese (hard to understand), The difficulty is adjustable (5 stars mode is very hard)
Sympathic (but I wouldn't pass tooo much time on it)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll add videos as I get new games on PC or PS2
I really apreciated Sega Rally 2006 and Initial D (I rented it, so no video of Inintial D) and generally, Sega games.
I tested Kaido Battle , and I don't apreciate this one (there is "action" moments when you can drift better ... That's weird)
All in all I feel that PC have taken the lead over all this arcade Japanese games. I'm really much entertaining with my computer now
... Or I have to buy a Xbox 360 :/
