Does anyone know if there is a way to view what a cars set up is, or whats installed before unlocking it?

I just recently won a Ferrari Modena in the auction house for a prety good price, and after resolving the auction, I checked its history and it says it has something like 90,000 in aftermarket accessories. Or something to that effect. Can't confirm since I'm @ work.

Also, the cars rating was S class 687, and stock its only an A class 517. So something is obviously done.

Is there anyway to confirm if the suspension has been tuned?

It's likely that the original owner did tune it, although not guaranteed, and AFAIK there isn't a way to check those specific tuning settings. However there IS a way to see what specific parts were used but to do this you have to "unlock/remove" the tune. So you may want to test drive the car some and see how you like it. In all honesty though since the PI wasn't maxed out for the class, 700 in this case, I wouldn't fret too much about losing the tuning setup as it is more than likely you can find a better one on the Tuning Storefront anyway.

So assuming you decide to lose the tune, go to "upgrade" and then "upgrade shop" or "tune setup." Now you'll get a warning message about how the car is locked and you'll need to remove the setup to proceed. Select remove setup. As a result the car will "appear" to revert back to its factory A517 status. However the great thing is that all the parts that made it 687 are still attached to the car. By this I mean let's assume they did a race weight reduction, added a race exhaust and race tires. When you go to the upgrade shop and check those areas you'll see a blue check mark for those upgrades. So all you'll need to then do is check every upgrade area and click on all the blue check marks. Once you've completed that you'll have your 687 PI car back and you can now tune it to your specification and/or use one from the storefront. Hope this helps.

Yeah, hat is kinda what I was fearing. I like how the suspension is set on the car, and figured if I were to unlock it everything would reset.

Is there a way to save the settings that wouldn't unlock it?

Boy not that I'm aware of. Ok there is one other way, if you know who you purchased the car from you could contact them, ask really nicely and maybe they'll tell you the settings they used. Other than that I think you are kinda shoot out of luck.
