I was playing around with the skin options, and now I cannot access GTP without going through a proxy. This occurred after seeing what the listed GTP9 Full and GTP9 Lite options did. Now I'm posting through a proxy, and even though I changed back to Use Forum Defualt, I cannot go back to viewing GTP regularly.

If this is because of the imminent upgrade to GTP9, then don't bother looking into my individual case until after the 8-9 switchover as my problem might work itself out. If you've got time to look into it now, it would be cool too.

I know I am not the only person who did this to themselves either.

Any help?
 
I am stuck in lite as well though it doesn't seem to be affecting anything else, I also wasn't aware this had something to do with gtp9 as I was just messing around with settings.


EDIT: however logging out seems to have put me back in standard mode as one would expect
 
Crap! I just got the same problem as well. I was using the Old GTP lite, press the link that Sage gave out, but it changed back to the old GTP full layout. Then I wanted to changed the options and then I can't access GTP on my IP address. Now i'm also using a Proxy just like exigeracer does.... :banghead:

Edit: Does anyone knows why I can't access GTP like normal? This is pissing me off :grumpy:. I had to use a online proxy server to surf on GTP, and all the BB code are disabled. :banghead: (which means I can't click on the buttons and I can't quick edit. Plus, the loading time is 🤬 slow!!!!!!)

Edit 2:Never mind. Now I've good it fixed. You just have to reset your modem in order for GTP to recognize your IP address (i think). Now i feel much better. :)
 
Having the same problem. But restarting my modem and router isn't helping :(

Sage: even when I use that link I still get "The page cannot be displayed" :(
 
OK, if you were blocked by trying to use the GTP9 style, your access should now be restored. Repeated failed login attempts to access services (Apache, in this case) running on our server will result in blacklisting of the originating IP. I never expected to get a good laugh out of the feature... :p
 
I am unable to view the regular GTP as well, I'm stuck in Lite.
 
Thanks. I think that when I changed IP's by switching wi-fi networks overnight, I got back to the good side. All good now.

I didn't see anything that I shouldn't have though, just what could've been GTP9 Lite, but the formatting was all wrong.
 
Jordan: YSSMAN just sent me a note that he’s stuck in the white-styleless-GTP9-land and can’t do anything, but that he didn’t touch the style selector at all. I gave him the link to fix it, but he says that when he clicks on that he just gets a server timeout message.
 
w00tage! It seems as though something ended up working... I'm in IE instead of Firefox this time...
 
Clear out your cookies, I had to do that with FF before it would work again.
