Maybe this was posted already, but I found this article a while back that may shed light on PD's plan for vintage racers in GT4. It's from the TVR Car Club, and talks about how a member of the club had his old TVR brought in for evaluation by game developers. Also talks about another cool car; the Marcos Mantis.

Oldies but goodies?

OMG!!
Imagine what it would be like if one day some pollyphony dude asked you to use yer car to test it for some GT-something car measurement!!! damn that dude is lucky. as for some of the cars he mentioned, hell, it is good!!! I cant wait to see if they REALLY are in the game!!

Cano

good news about GT4 keep coming and coming. I like dat.

Classic TVRs look ugly :( and are quite possibly the most unreliabe cars ever made. Marcoses are cool if a little odd looking.

The positive to this is we might see the newer Marcos Mantis GT racers in the game. People don't realize how dominant those Mantis GTs have been thoughout the years. Hopefully we'll also see the new Tuscan R too!

vintage cars are nice but what the new gt needs is a 1969 Dodge charger

My dad has a 1968 Dodge Charger. I personall think they should put every car ever made in the game. And one of each. Not 55 gd Skylines, and Evolutions

Oh come on... you know every British car produced pre mid eighties is likly to earn the title "most unreliable car ever made" :)

I used to own a '78 Triumph Spitfire :D

To add, this topic is old. Try a search for it. There was an even better report and article from a guy named Howard. He had is 66 Volkswagen Beetle pictured.
