when i first bought this game i was looking through the car in the dealership. I saw that they had the gts, the racer and the concept. I have always been a sucker for vipers and when i saw that concept car i knew i had to own.


I fanially got my hands on the gts and put a thousand hp on it. It was a jet. A little while ago i won the viper concept. I was so disappointed. It sucks!!!!!! it has 900hp but it doesnt turn and its justb disappointing.


Did any of you think it was disappointing?

I think the Concept takes a bit of tuning to get it in where you can handle it. Lots of people like it, though.

I like the vipers too, I love the power, and my problem is I don't like to take time to tune most of them, so I can't control some, lol A.K.A VIPER!!
 
hey, that avater you got, that is of the 1/24th r390 model, did you build that or is that just a pic of the net?
 
in my opinion you only race all around good cars like a F/090S not a viper concept,its a garage car.
 
the viper concept is my favorite car in the game,i beat all of arcade mode with it and so on...

my viper concept goes 0-60 in 2.1 secs....

oh and top speed is 250...
 
I like the Viper Concept. It handles fairly similiar to the other vipers. It seems awfully quiet during acceleration to me. Has anyone noticed this difference?? Even the Viper Race Car is a little louder than the concept. Great acceleration though :thumbsup:

I still think this car is bad


Even though i love vipers. Also i think the old models look better, gts only, the rt/10's look funny to me.
 
Ya the concept doesn't upshift into 6th until 250ish, I didn't even know it had a 6th gear until I got intoa draft and all of a sudden was doing 278mph!
 
I really like the concept. It doesnt spin out as easily like the older viper IMO.
 
the car is the pretty much the best american road car in real life...
 
Doesnt it have to go into production and actually hit some roads before it can earn that titles?
 
Well I didn't have too much of a problem completing the Time Trial on Laguna Seca with the Viper Concept. I had no problems with oversteer, easily made it through the corkscrew, and accelerating after that last hard left turn was a pice of cake. I think I got it about my 4th or 5th try!! :burnout:

That would be a :thumbsup: from me for sure!
 
I hav always been a sucker for a viper. I gave the GTS a name, Eleanor. Why? Gone In 60 Seconds. Anyways, I love the concept car. There is only one aspect I don't like: I think it's rear looks weak. The front is just bad, looks good from the side too but I think the rear needs work. With no turning, I think it handles better than the GTS. Huge power, quiet yet massive acceleration and of course the replays look awesome. I've only done the TT @ Laguna once and it did the corkscrew wonderfully although I think the game should provide the circuit in reverse. I want to race up the corkscrew!!

I was thinking 'haven't driven that yet' and then I saw this post and thought 'oh yeah - forgot about that'.

That TT was dead easy - got it second attempt. The car was exceptionally easy to drive, even through the Corkscrew.
 
I like the concept viper the handling seems smoother than the gts but I still wish there were more racing mod vipers in GT3
GT2 was the best for vipers.
 
Whats weird is cars with like 1000hp can only do low 10 sec (possibly some 9's) quarter miles. In real-life, cars with 500hp can do 10 sec runs, and some with 1000hp do like 8's 7's.
 
i was recently driving this and found out....it still sucks~!!

never say the viper sucks,but the truth is that the corvettes suck
 
The Viper is Real USA power! I love all the vipers though they clearly aren't the Best cars in the game.

It's great to drive on Laguna Seca.......... :eek:

Including this member right here. I happen to LOVE the Concept in GT3. I am not an expert tuner but I like the way I fixed it up and I race with it frequently.
