Recently am playing Gr3 class a loot in costume race mode. I have great fun with pro AI, but when I use Viper am leading race just after 1-2 laps (starting from 11 place) in 6 laps race. With other Gr3 cars I need to fight for first place until last lap. Viper have 686hp while my other Gr3 cars have around 520-570hp (Aston, Ferrari, Porsche, Jag...).

Without BoP on, the Viper is one of the fastest (if not the fastest) gr.3 cars - BoP reduces it's power to 80% I think.
I think the Beetle is also up there. Joined a random lobby the other night that had BoP off and driving the Beetle was absolutely insane

(I think I may have had the power cranked right up and weight right down too, come to think of it...)

Problem with the Viper is that it’s the only Gr.3 car that’s fully derestricted stock which is why it has 680HP when in Racing Spec it only had around 500HP (I don’t know GT3-R specs, but the 2014 GTS-R Raced with 475HP). This gets fixed with BOP though where I think it has around 530HP

OP/NERFED - words overused on gtp.
it's lexicon for talking about video games, you're going to find it on pretty much every forum dedicated to a game that receives balance updates...What other terms would you like us to use?

IRL shouldnt the Vette be one of the fastest cars?
C6r GT3 car weights 2730lbs... makes 600hp uncorked, but races at 2866lbs(FIA regulation) and 500-525hp depending on what FIA restrict it to.
Viper GT3 car weighs 2855lbs... makes 680hp uncorked, but races at 2866lbs(FIA regulation) and ~600hp depending on what FIA restrict it to.
So, the Vette benefits from ballast location, which undoubtedly has it's advantages in braking/corning and punches a smaller hole in the air, but, the Viper has hp and cubic inches (torque) advantages... so... even in the real world BoP is a magical formula.
Uncorked and un-ballasted would be an interesting race... I think I'd expect the Vette to be faster at tracks with long straights/high speed corners (keep it wound up and punching that little hole in the air) and the Viper to be faster on tracks with short straights/tight corners(making use of that grunt and not as effected by aero drag)... at least until it eats its tires.
