Viper SRT-10 on Sarthe II

This is just a challenge from another board I'm on that I thought was good but I'm sure a few here will break this record in a few laps! :scared:

Fully tune a SRT-10 Viper in GT mode, any tuning, wing, R5's, whatever except NOS. Go to Sarthe II (no chicanes) and see what kind of time you can get. Best so far is 2' 58.615. :cheers:
 
wait 006r, that's my time. I thought that Nem had the best time of 2'58.415 lemme double check
 
Nem's time was .815... Just checked. Your's was faster.
 
Haha no way!! And this entire time I thought Nem was faster.
 
71 views so far and no ones willing to throw out a couple of laps?? C'mon someone must have 3 minutes to spare! My best time is 3' 03.2xx.
 
Hi. I sat for about 20 minutes and got 3'10.979. As you can see its rubbish compared to most people, but I think I can do better if my car wasnt as twitchy under breaking. On the main straight I managed to reach 258mph and when I came to the braking zone went completely sideways under braking and nearly lost it. I carried on and after the other big straight and I breaked again and caught the gravel trap a little due to the twitchyness under breaking. Can someone suggest something to help me with the twitchyness?
