If you play your cards right, at least in the NTSC version, you can get 4 F1 prize cars in a row when you get 100%. I finished Arcade mode, Time Trials, and all races in Beginner, Amateur, and everything in Pro except the Formula GT. I preran the Test Course in the TS020, and I think Laguna, to make sure I'd have gold on those races. Then I started the FGT, and won every race except I skipped the Test Course to save oil. When I won at Monaco I received 4 F1 cars right in a row: 1 for the FGT, 1 for completing Pro mode, 1 for completing Simulation mode, and 1 for 100% completion.

The 787B has a bit better hp than most cars.To me the handling seems like you could do Laguna Seca in one minute. When I did th GT All-stars in professional mode the 787B lapped me.I think since its concept the people who made the game tricked out the engine but i'm just guessing.

Very nice job f310B. I spent about two months in begginer leagues before moving up. You picked the right route in getting golds in all the licenses. If only I had known back then.

I think it may depend on the frequency and intencity of your sessions. The more you play the more you will get done, or something like that.

The 787 isn't a concept it's a LeMans racer from 1991, and back then they regularly had over 700Bhp in the cars.

787B, great car, err not sure about the colour scheme but hey. I worked at Laguna Seca in the 787B, in 10 laps I worked down to a 1:06.080. It felt like the car could go faster to. I'm sure the really good drivers could go 3 sec faster.

Ya, i got a 1:03.1 at laguna seca and i prolly could have got a 1:02.5 cuz i was ahead at points but i just stopped. The original car had 691 hp and 448 tourque when it won lemans in 1991 and became and still is the only japanies car to ever win le mans.

Alot of time that is lost on laps in gt3 is because of setup..i know drivers make a big diff but setup can make sometimes up to 3 to 4 seconds alone. And it can make a HUGE difference with the f1 cars !

Oh, I kinda don't do setup. When really going for lap times I mainly stick to licenses, because that evens the playing field. Laguna Seca is my best track, mainly because I liked it a lot and whenever I test a car out I always went to Laguna Seca in free mode.

I got a 1:15.3 at the S6 license. But I'm far worse at other tracks, I haven't had the game very long.

heh i can't get that time on s6 i hate the drifting with that viper ...its totally unrealistic and it pisses me off..I got a 1:14.5 on time trial, apricot hill !! :)

the reason is the concept has the newere srt-10 enginge which has 500+ hp and 500+ lb. ft of torque. It also is a "race car"- although not like the oreca. Watch speed GT on TV if you can- basically the same car. The oreca is a GTS car, they are like the american version of a JGTC GT500 race car. And the stock GTS is a road car, only faster!!!
