VIPs can't download Porsche Pack

The Porsche Pack is out and can be purchased via Xbox Live Marketplace.

If you're a VIP (you purchased the Limited Edition, or upgraded recently) you get a 400 MPS discount--BUT YOU MUST PURCHASE IT WITHIN FORZA 4. You won't get the discount if you purchase it "directly" from the Xbox live dashboard.

HOWEVER...

According to the Forza 4 forums, VIPs (including myself) trying to purchase the car pack within the game are experiencing problems with Xbox Live Marketplace. "Non-VIPs" are buying the pack at full price, and the cars are starting to show up online.

"There's a problem with Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Please try again later. Status code: 800700E8"

If you're a "VIP" and have successfully downloaded the pack, please post here.

If you're not a "VIP," please do not post here--you should be in Forza 4 enjoying your Porsches. :-)

Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

***** UPDATE *****
The problem has been resolved--at least for me, and according to other posts. Time for some Porsche tuning.

Remember to buy and tune one Porsche first and race it a few times to build Affinity for Porsche. Then you get discounts or no charge for upgrades.
 
It's like buying an $80 premium ticket to a concert, where general admission is $50. However you get there and they're letting all the "general admission" people in, but you're told to wait outside--and you're still waiting outside as you hear the concert begin.

I know it's just another glitch, and probably something happened between Turn 10 and Microsoft.
 
So long as the VIP thing is fixed by the time I get home tonight... I'll be fine. Waited this long, and I don't take off work to play games. I'll be very disappointed if the 400 points discount for VIPs isn't resolved in T minus 8 hours
 
it happened to me too except with the other dlcs it worked fine after i downloaded it from the marketplace
 
Downloading now. 328.98 MB. 1200 MSP with VIP membership.

With the discount, I have enough points to buy the previous pack--wanted to make sure I could get the discount so I wouldn't have to purchase more points. SmartCar! Woo hoo! ;-)
 
finally after I cleared the system cache and a few download attempts.. it's coming down the wire, now what can I afford to buy :/
 
I'm currently downloading from within Forza, I'm a V.I.P - I had that status error a few times but it's working now.
 
so how long have we waited for this.. and now.. how does one make it work in triple screen mode?

As much as I appreciate T10's work, I won't. I can't believe we still have these kind of issues in a AAA game in two thousand and twelve.
 
I still have a problem and I am joining HBK, not paying extra if I do not have to, the wait continues.

update, it is downloading now, hope to be shopping soon, everyone else too. :)
 
Triple Screen Dudes: Couldn't you all just move your profiles to each machine and redownload to each 360? Once you download it once through the game you don't have to pay again each time you download with that profile.
