Hey everyone,
So I found GTPlanet really just when I was looking for tips on general tuning in GT5 and I kept coming back mostly lurking. Eventually with more tuning and add to that an awakened interest in drifting and I finally could not resist registering!
I fondly remember the days when GT1 came out, cruising with the Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo and loving the endurance races. Looking back now in comparison to GT5 it's just amazing how far we've come... and how we thought -that- looked amazing and 'real'.
I'm sticking with my controller for now, though I've been looking at the Driving Force GT, but I'm not sure since I'm worried about the thing being too noisy, though I wonder if a towel or blanket for padding in between the desk and wheel as well as pedal board would help, though I'll have to ask everyone's opinion and experiences with that.
When it comes to other games I enjoy a wide variety, the Total War series, RPGs; Elders Scrolls, Fallout, Final Fantasy, had my share of GTA's Call of Duty's and Rainbow Six's. I even still delve into the odd MUD.
Now that I'm a part of the forums here too, I'm looking forward to reviewing tunes, talking about them as well as discussing them. Chatting away about GT5 in general, when I get deeper into the drifting side of things even that and I wouldn't mind sharing the photo's I've been conjuring up.
Cheers!
